Too much cake?

Filed under: My Blogs • Comments: None

Is it just me or does the gang on Ace of Cakes seem a little tired? I’m sure it’s a lot of work making cakes that look like other things. They make everything from cars to musical sets, they haven’t done a cake for mortgage lenders that I know of, but they do just about everything else.

The shop used to seem so refreshing & everyone was glad to have such a cool job. Maybe it’s like writer’s block, they just have cake block. They all just seem a little worn out & don’t seem to have their usual enthusiasm. Their cakes are still beautiful, I still watch the show in hopes they’ll put firecrackers in cakes, but it’s just not the same. I hope everything is ok. Yes, that’s how attached to TV I am, I start worrying when the people on my fav reality shows seem tired.

Who made it through celebrity drug rehab?

Filed under: My Blogs • Comments: None

I have to admit that I love watching Celebrity Rehab with Doctor Drew. It was so entertaining, that I had to remind myself that drug rehabs were no laughing matter. All of the celebrities were offered the chance to go to Sober Living free of charge.

It was really pressed upon them as a way to stay sober. Only three of the celebrities chose to go. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who is disappointed. It will be interesting to see what happens at the reunion next week. I don’t know if celebrities can just say “I’m using again”, or if they will get in trouble with the law. I guess we will see.

You never know when you’re on camera

Filed under: My Blogs • Comments: None

I was watching Cash Cab today, wondering if the cab driver/game show host qualifies for online auto insurance. Then a group of people got in the cash cab & the lady was very rude to the cabbie & basically told him to shut up & listen to her directions.

Then he set the lights for the game show on. Suddenly, she was as nice as could be. If I was the cab driver, I would’ve just driven her to her destination & then said “You were almost on a game show, but you’re rude you owe me $32″.

Be nice to cabbies, you never know when you’re going to be on TV.
