There is really so much that I’ve learned from Pan Am. One of my favorite moments is when one of the pilots points to the stewardesses and remarks that they are a new breed of woman and they don’t even know it. Not even shows like Mad Men have really made me think about how lucky I’ve been to be able to determine which field I work in. It also shows how weight and appearance were openly qualifications for jobs. It just makes me so grateful to live in this time where women have really blazed the trails before me. I hope that everyone appreciates the women in their lives and even sends them girlfriend gifts delivered next day. This show made me realize how awesome women are and that we should all be appreciated a lot more than just on Mother’s Day or birthdays.
