Things I Never Understood Before
Filed under: Lessons • Comments: NoneWhenever Kate talks about how reality TV was good for her family she mentions the same thing. She always says how happy she is that her kids got to travel. I had never thought before how expensive it would be just to go to the movies or something with that many kids; let alone go on serious vacations. On the series finale she did a pretty good job of explaining that the show was the only way it would be possible. Plus, it’s even good that the kids got it on film so that they could remember it when they are older.
The other part that I’ve even criticized before is that the show stopped seeming real. It was a different trip every episode. However, then she explained that at first the show was about them staying home and living their lives all the time. However, now all the kids were actually old enough to really go out so that’s why the show seemed to change so much.
