Lessons Learned from Mommywood

Sure, this is a book, but it’s by a book by someone who’s on TV, Tori Spelling. I really enjoyed her first book but I’m not even sure that I’m going to finish this one. I’d rather focus on something constructive like apidexin reviews. I guess it has a lot to do with “but”. She even starts her sentences with this all the time. Plus they all go in the same “my mother is a horrible person and I vowed to never be like her” direction..but. It’s like Tori doesn’t even see that maybe her mom wasn’t a monster.

She’s just as justified in making the same mistakes that Tori makes but Tori at least has hindsight on her side and she still does it. No I’m sure that Candy wasn’t the perfect mom but Tori won’t be either. They both wanted their kids to get nose jobs. They both tried. I’ll keep reading in hope that this is what Tori eventually figures out but I’m really not holding out a ton of hope simply because of all the “but’s”.

What Dr. Phil Really Means

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

It always cracks me up a little bit when Dr. Phil says “I’d like to thank you for your candor.” What he really means is “I can’t believe that you just admitted what a truly terrible person you are, but it’s going to be great for my ratings. Seriously, since when has candor been a personality trait for others to aspire to.

Opps They Did It Again

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

I just had to look up whether or not last week was the finale for the Dr. Phil Family. I kept listening to see whether it was going to be a season or series finale for this particular family but they just kept calling it a finale. I’m sure these people have enough problems to remain on air for the next decade.

What I really hate was how at the end, within like one episode, like as soon as Erin had plastic surgery, suddenly everything was fine with her husband again. I support people looking their best with a new haircut, clothes, or adipex p. However, an inner transformation needs to take place as well and of all people Dr. Phil should know that. They did this the last time they were on the air too. Maybe it’s just because of the custody battles they are in because of their grand children. However, since Erin has been talking about leaving her husband, regretting not having longer affairs, wanting to leave her entire family it just really irks me. I hate that they just have to act like everything is fine just to make a finale out of it.
