Lessons Learned from Family Jewels
I’ve long thought that the hope of every girl who has every bought a concert ticket to see any band is to end up like Shannon Tweed. Of course on the show you’ll always hear her talk about how she’s been trying to get Gene to marry her for 25 years. Of course it must be nice to be around the fame and the wealth and hopefully the love of course.
However, lately on the show it’s really highlighted how very lonely these kinds of situations can be. Of course, Gene is always on the show but he’s always working and Shannon has to say things like “stay out there and be a rock star” when she has a cancer scare. Gene did the right thing by showing up anyways. Plus they got to learn about charity work and I’m sure they’d all look great in pink ties. It made me wonder how many times she’s had to say that and maybe things aren’t as glamorous as they seem.
