I really loved Wednesday’s episode of Better Off Ted. It made me wish that I was involved in the upper management of some big corporation. Sure, I’d be in the likes of the pointy haired boss on Dilbert, but it would just be so fun.

On this episode they found that any change in the work environment would be so unsettlingly that people would increase productivity. So they decided to randomly give out a red lab coat, just put it in people’s lockers and they never said whether it was good or bad. So the employees were all frazzled and tried to work harder and avoid mistakes. It would probably work aroudn the house as well to get your spouse to take out the trash or lookup auto insurance quotes. I’m sure this happens a lot in corporate America, so sometimes it’s just a red lab coat, it doesn’t mean anything.
