Wish it was like TV
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the jobs they show on TV. Most of them are glamorous, pay well, and the main character always seems to do it flawlessly. There might be a pesky boss around for comic relief, but the character can always afford their lifestyle. If only it were that way in real life. It takes a lot of hard work just to pay the bills. It also takes years of education to get anywhere.
I really wished that when I was going with for my degree I had left more room for the real world’s interpretation. Instead, I focused on one thing, and now I’m stuck with a degree that can do exactly one thing. That’s why I’m really interested in Organizational development university. Instead of getting a Masters in organizational development, Gonzaga University allows you to get a degree in organizational leadership. This will help people move up into management or even start their own consulting business. Overall, in the real world you have to be flexible and hopefully have a degree that can change with the times too.
