I was babysitting and the kids were watching icarly. It got me thinking, what would my childhood have been like if there had been such TV characters? I grew up with Facts of Life, Shera and Punky Brewster. With Icarly there was more of what I was/wanted to be/should have had for role models. Pretty women who were still smart and yet extremely sarcastic, the total package. I’m glad that this generation has such role models, but I wish that I would have had them too.
