I’ve been a little leery watching “18 Kids & Counting”. I love the Duggars and I don’t want them to go the way of Jon & Kate. Granted, Michele & Jim Bob really seem to be in love and put work into their relationship. They don’t bicker and have a pretty steady belief system.

There is a danger in reality TV. First we see the family scrimping and saving to buy car accessories and clipping coupons. The next thing we know they are demanding custom motorcycles and free playhouses for their kids. The Duggars are pretty good about giving back, going to 3rd world countries, building onto another family’s home. However, when I see Mrs. Duggar lose her 1980′s bangs, start wearing makeup and get a tan, I’m scard. This is how it starts.
