The House Crisis

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: 1

No, I’m not talking about the housing crisis. I’m talking about the fact that House M.D. has become boring. I’m a pretty loyal TV watcher. Once I’m hooked on a show, I’ll see it through to the end. I thought that House M.D. was going to be this way because Hugh Laurie is in it.

The last season has been filled with predictability. Every episode someone cries blood. House keeps repeating the same relationships over and over when it’s been established they will not work. The show used to be intriguing, House was mysterious. I wanted to know how he got in the accident that crippled him and if he would ever be happy. I guess it’s a twist that he now sees dead people, but even the dead people are predictable. I’m still watching out of loyalty, but just barely.

What happened to the Style Network?

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

I haven’t had the Style Network for a few years. Suddenly, it just appeared. I’m assuming it’s either magic or a free preview. I was excited because I used to watch The Look for Less & Who’s Wedding is it Anyways? Basically, this network was a fun way to learn about fashion, like what’s the appropriate attire to wear to play piano?

Then I started scrolling through the TV Guide. There I saw that the Style Network airs Clean House all day, all night everyday. They don’t even have variations of the show. Clean House doesn’t even belong on that channel. I would say that it’s possible to have too much of a good thing, but Clean House isn’t even good.
