Let’s face it’s, Nate Berkus is adorable. The best part is, he can decorate. He often appears on the Oprah show. He usually has an unlimited budget & creates dream homes. He includes flat screen TVs, pots & pans, & probably even weight loss products. Oprah threw him a challenge today. He has to decorate four houses in a neighborhood. He only has a $500 budget per makeover at Target. Then he has to organize a swap meet & redecorate using the items that he found.

These people have virtually nothing. They are all experiencing tough economic times. One family has even been pawning their items to pay the rent. Yet, they each had something to contribute & barter for in the swap. The rooms look designer & the families sure deserve them. Yet, these are some of the few Nate Berkus designs that aren’t out of reach for the average person.

I just saw an ad for Taco Bell. It featured their new taco salad. Apparently, it doesn’t have any lettuce on it. Lettuce was just holding us back. It’s still technically a salad…made out of meat.

Let me be clear, salads are supposed to have vegetables on them. They are what you eat to feel better about the side of fries. Way to be healthy.

I was just watching the finale of Last Cake Standing. They found out that they had 24 hours to design a cake for sextuplets. This might seem like it’s better than a regular eight hour challenge. However, your work then has that much more pressure on it. Plus, you then have to decide whether to go without sleep or not. Talk about a system memory melt down.

Then the host said “Now for the twist.” What could possibly be crazier than that? There was a long pause for suspense. He said “The twist is…there is no twist.” I guess they just needed it for a sound byte. I think that Bronwynn’s cake is going to get dinged for having too many colors & looking juvenile.
