Don’t listen to Dino
It started off as a silly rumor, made by some insignificant never before heard of man named Dino. It ended with Audrina & Lauren yelling at each other & basically calling off their friendship. Last week on The Hills they were best friends. They have survived Audrina visiting with Heidi. They have survived Lauren hating Audrina’s boyfriend. The most insane rumor in the world tore them apart. I think this teaches some very important lessons:
1. Take a minute to cool off when you first hear a rumor. It’s tempting to just think it’s true but basic logic should prevail.
2. If you are accused of something, set it straight. Try not to be offended that the other person thinks that such an absurdity could be possible. Did Lauren & Justin Bobby hook up? No. You just have to say it out loud to know it isn’t true. However, Lauren could have been more patient with Audrina instead of immediately taking offense. After all, Lauren accused Heidi of spreading rumors which is why they are still fighting all these years.
