Know your audience
On the show Top Design, they’ve designed for every possible situation. They’ve done everything from a bomb shelter to a bachelor pad. It made me wonder how a baby would design their own nursery including crib bedding. Would it be the same way an adult or designer looks at it?
There seems to be a trend in crib bedding toward neutral colors & geometric shapes like circles. I think this is a lot more soothing than some of the designs that I’ve seen in the past. It also means that the nursery can match the rest of your house. Plus, I find the taupe colors really soothing. I haven’t been an infant in awhile, but I bet they’d feel the same way.
Knowing your audience is essential before doing anything that would relate to them because their satisfaction depends to what they have seen depends upon your presentation and their likes and dislikes.
