Sometimes, the person who you think is going to win, actually wins. The long shot can try as hard as she want, but she’s still a long shot. This was pretty apparent during Shear Genius. The final three came down to Dee, Charlie & Nicole. Dee & Charlie had consistently been in the top picks. Nicole had been on the verge of being sent home every single episode.

I was really disappointed when Charlie said that he would use the money to buy a nose job for his boyfriend. Dee said that she would buy her mom any house she wanted if she won. I’m not sure that Dee knows how much $100,000 is, especially after taxes. I should say how little it is. I was glad that Dee won because she wanted the money to go to a good cause. The moral of the story is that some reality TV producers keep the long shot around for a storyline before they are sent home.
