Lessons learned from Flipping Out
One of the things that I was shocked to learn while watching Flipping Out is that travertine tile is definitely out. In fact, it’s been out for about eight years. In fact Jeff Lewis usually uses an example of travertine as the absolute lowest level of design. I’ve always loved travertine marble, even when I found out that it is actually limestone.
This style is just becoming popular in Utah which means that we are about eight years behind California. Granted, I just got an MP3 player a few weeks ago & everyone else has had MP3 players for years. Who knew?
