Lessons learned from the Moment of Truth
The Moment of Truth finale was last week. I swore that I wouldn’t watch this show on moral grounds. I balked at the idea that people could win up to $500,000 just by telling the truth when strapped to a lie detector. Are we really so dishonest as a society that this game show needs to exist? However, I was sucked in just through the hype.
Most of the lessons that I learn on this blog as positive. However, I learned that everyone has secrets & they are worse than we can never imagine. It goes beyond the fact that most of the parents don’t set up college funds or have child life insurance. Some of these secrets are really disturbing & can break apart families. I especially hate how people will reveal that they’ve threatened someone with a deadly weapon & then everyone will clap for them just because they were honest about it. Yes, honesty is a good policy but maybe not being a horrible person is the best policy.

This is a good show.Everyone know honesty is a good policy . I think if we prosper in our life always remember this speech “Do not tell a lie”.Because it’s a great curse in our life.

Honest is the best possible policy to have, but you still have to have some tact when being honest. No good destroying someone’s life for the sake of being honest.
