Lessons learned from Cash Cab
I love watching the show Cash Cab which is a game show that takes place inside an New York City taxi. It’s not Who Wants to be a Millionaire? The most I’ve seen anyone win in the cash cab is around $2000. I guess I shouldn’t balk at the small amount of money, it still might be enough for Las Vegas vacations.
However, they do get a free cab ride. I just love to watch people get surprised by the flashing lights & find out they aren’t in an ordinary cab. The lesson I take from cash cab is this: an ordinary day can turn extraordinary unexpectedly. Also, if you are going to take a ride in a NYC cab, make sure you are wearing lipstick because you never know when you’ll be on national TV.

The cash cab takes passengers as normal fares, and once they agree to play the driver asks a series of questions of increasing difficulty and cash value. Incorrect answers earn a “strike,” and if contestants accumulate three strikes they lose the game.
