The Real King Henry

When I think of Henry the VIII I think of this:

I think of a portly gentleman eating huge turkey legs & ordering to have his wives killed. I have no idea how the creators of the Tudors decided he should look like this:

I’m sure glad they did though. I really doubt that I would watch a show featuring the guy in the first painting. I’d rather be working on the computer or buying term insurance. Maybe a TV movie or a miniseries, but not an entire series. I wouldn’t eagerly be awaiting season two. Who said history isn’t fun?

Groomer Has It

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

Here are a few lessons I learned from the reality show Groomer Has It:

  • Groomers are as arrogant as hair dressers on reality tv.
  • Different breeds of dogs have different temperments.
  • Don’t ever clip a cat’s whiskers. They serve many purposes including helping cats keep their equalibrium.
  • The judges will yell at you anytime a dog is groomed to the point it looks like a panda bear.

Overall, dog grooming is a lot more dangerous & involved then I ever though.

Why & the City is so popular

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

I try not to be like the & the City TV show & spend everything in my checking account on shoes. It’s not my fault that they are so pretty. I think that the reason why & the city is such a big hit is that it’s about the importance of friendship. Granted, most relationships aren’t going to work out the way that we want them to. The big secret is to have good friends who will help you through the break ups & celebrate the triumphs.
