I admit that I didn’t really watch a show that ends with & the City. I’d rather spend my money on t-shirts & rent then buy one pair of designer shoes. In fact, I didn’t even know that a new movie is coming out. I was just prejudiced that it was a show that I wouldn’t want to watch. It just seemed vulgar to me.

Then a few weeks ago I realized that all of my friends were married & I was the only single one left. I’m happy that they are happy, but it was a weird feeling So I was flipping through the channels then landed on …& the City. They were talking about married vs. single women & it was exactly what I was going through. I’ve been watching it ever since. Sure, most of my lessons are about things I see on TV, but this was a lesson about TV. So now I know about the new movie & I’ll probably buy tickets.
