Why does anyone go on Wife Swap?

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

Every single episode of wife swap has been exactly the same. There is a conservative mom & a wild mom. The conservative mom switches places with the crazy mom & she teaches the kids how important chores are. The wild mom fights with the conservative dad. They have a table meeting at the end & everyone fights.

They can’t even agree on weight loss. The conservative mom ends up looking like a drill sergeant. I can see why women switched places the first season. However, who watches the show & thinks “Wow that lady ends up looking horrible, I could be her. Where do I sign up?” Why does anyone go on Wife Swap?

How to be memorable on reality TV

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

Make sure that you bring your own catch phrase. It can be something like fierce or even yeeeaaah. This way you will get at least one montage all to yourself when the reunion show hits. I shouldn’t share this information though because soon all reality tv will be is people saying “yeah” “fierce” “yeah” “fierce” If you don’t have personality then you can always just say the same thing over & over.

Beware of first impressions

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

If you ever go on The Real World, beware of the roommates you think will be friends with. Some people say you never get a second chance to make a first impression. This is true. I say first impressions aren’t as reliable as auto insurance comparison.

It seems that whenever someone says “I can really feel a connection there” they are the people who always end up throwing punches or glasses at each other within a month. I could not believe the way that Will lost his temper against Greg. I’m really glad that he’s getting anger management. First impressions aren’t as reliable as we’d like to think.
