I wish I could write a haiku

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

I missed the day in English class when we learned how to write haiku’s. I now deeply regret this. Ever since The Office returned, I really want to be able to write some sort of poetry about it.

The show is just so perfect. I loved the way that Jim got down on his knee this week & said “Pam?” He paused then said “I need to tie my shoe.” Maybe that is a haiku. I really hope so because The Office definitely deserves it.

What is Audrina thinking?

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

I always forgave the fact that Audrina from the Hills always seems like she’s in some sort of coma. She seemed like a nice enough person. She took Lauren in. Audrina seemed pretty loyal & drama free, which is something that The Hills really needs. Suddenly, Audrina is becoming friends with Heidi. Heidi comes over to the apartment to get her “stuff”, it’s not like she left behind teak furniture.

According to next week’s preview, Justin Bobby is back in the picture as well. I don’t know if she thinks that Lauren will just be ok with it. I think Lauren & Lo are going to move into together & then Heidi will move in with Audrina. I really worry about these people’s lives way too much. I just can’t help it, what is Audrina thinking?

More lessons from the Real Housewives

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

One thing on the Real Housewives of New York City just baffles me. Alex & her husband always seem to be pushing their four year old to speak in French. The kid just isn’t having it. The parents keep insisting that he’s bilingual, they try to bribe him to speak French & he just screams. I’m all for teaching your kids new things. I also understand that Francois is going to need an edge. Before someone calls a mover NYC they need to consider the fact that apparently getting in a good pre-k school in NYC is supposedly more competitive than getting into Harvard.

However, this is the one thing I agreed with all the other housewives on. Francois was running around a fancy dinner party screaming & stabbing stranger’s food so they couldn’t eat it. Who cares if he can speak French if he’s misbehaving? To me, manners are more important.
