Does Project Greenlight Work?
I would love to say that Project Greenlight with Matt Damon & Ben Affleck proved that you can make a good movie for $1,000,000 including the cost of electronics, sets & actors. I would also love to say that people will show up at the theater to watch it. It would be fantastic to see movies being made because they were good movies, not because they had cool special effects.
I’ve watched the first two seasons of the show, I really wanted these movies to succeed. Instead, both of the movies have been a huge disappointment & I’m not the only one who thinks so. Even Matt & Ben were joking “Maybe the system works, it keeps the good guys in & the bad guys out.” However, most big studios make tons of movies a year & only a few are successful. Maybe Project Greenlight just needed to make more movies. What do you think, can Project Greenlight make a good movie?
