Dr. Drew is my hero

Filed under: Relationship Lessons • Comments: None

Dr. Drew is my new hero after watching the Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew reunion. Here is why:

  1. He was so supportive.
  2. He didn’t really pressure Jeff into going to rehab.
  3. He kept people from picking on Vicki.
  4. He didn’t blame the celebrities who had relapsed, he just offered them more help.
  5. He didn’t let people criticize Daniel Baldwin for being the biggest jerk ever on reality TV.

Through the show I learned a lot more about drug rehab, but I also learned a lot more about humanity & not judging people.

Lessons Learned from Vanna White

Filed under: Business Lessons • Comments: None

I’ve always wondered what would happen if Vanna White left Wheel of Fortune. I’ve even wondered why the Wheel hasn’t traded Vanna in for a younger model, literally. Granted, I love Vanna. Usually, I don’t agree with the whole Hollywood thing though. It’s weird that we see eye to eye on this.

I think the key to Vanna’s success is she built her brand. She made her name synonymous with the show. They can’t fire her because she IS the show. So whether it’s trade show booths, business cards, or just a really cool company name, build your brand.

Vanna White Still Going Strong

Filed under: Business Lessons • Comments: None

I love Wheel of Fortune. Granted, I don’t watch the show much anymore. I’m just not much into game shows anymore. However, they have my undying respect. I really admire that Vanna White is still on the show.

It just wouldn’t be the same if someone else was turning the letters. I guess technically she is a co-host. According to my calculations, Vanna White is 51. Don’t count on that, I’m really bad at math. She still looks gorgeous, she’s in great shape & doesn’t need weight loss pills. I admire Wheel of Fortune for not just dumping women once they reach 35, like so many other places in Hollywood.
