The Return of Jezebel James

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

There is one crucial lesson to be learned from The Return of Jezebel James: I will watch anything that is associated with Gilmore Girls. I really missed Amy Sherman Palladino. However, the show just isn’t funny. It’s a comedy, but they forgot one thing: to be funny.

I’ll watch it again tonight just because I found out that Max Medina (real name Scott Cohen, but he’ll always be Max to me) is in the show. Last week, I kept thinking, “Is that Max Medina? That guy looks like Max Medina.” Will you be watching The Return of Jezebel James tonight?

Lessons from It’s Me or the Dog

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: 3

Here are a few lessons that are often repeated on It’s Me or the Dog. Frankly, this stuff should be clear to any dog owner, but there’s new shows on all the time.

1. Dogs shouldn’t eat chocolate. It isn’t treating them. It’s poisonous.

2. If your friends refuse to come over because your dog will bite them, something is wrong.

3. If your roommate/husband is threatening to leave you because of the dog, something is wrong.

4. Your dog doesn’t need to drink wine.

5. There is no magic word like Orovo to make your dog behave, it takes training & time.

It’s me or the dog

Filed under: Lessons • Comments: None

I’m really surprised that the animal planet “It’s me or the dog” exists. It makes me more than a little sad that people are to the point that a husband/roommate/sister is about to walk out of their life because their dog is so out of control. I usually scream at the TV “What are you thinking? Get a clue, take some prohormones or something”.

Victoria Stilwell is a dog trainer that comes in & rights everything. The only thing that surprises me more than the fact that this show exists is that I like watching it.
