Lessons Learned from My Big Redneck Wedding

Finally, a wedding show that both men & women can enjoy. This is a show on CMT featuring some of the weirdest weddings I’ve ever seen. You couldn’t make this stuff up. It makes me want to get travel trailers & spend some time in the South. Granted, Tom Arnold is the most annoying host ever. Here are some lessons I’ve learned from watching My Big Redneck Wedding:

  • Who needs a fancy catered meal when you can just send your fiancee out into the woods to kill the wedding dinner?
  • Camo is always in fashion, both for the bride, groom & bridesmaids.
  • Mud bogging, mattress sledding, mud wrestling & pig chasing is a lot more fun than traditional wedding activities like dancing.
  • If you can’t afford rentals just use bales of hay instead of chairs.
  • Every wedding needs decorations so just bring whatever taxidermied animals you have around the house.

I wish I was making this stuff up, but I’m not.
