Business Lessons from the Real World
One of the minor plot lines from The Real World is that all of the housemates have to work together. This is usually at a job that a trained monkey can do. They mess it up every single season. Here are a few things to watch out for. The Real World is pretty much an entire lesson on how to not hold down a job.
- The Real Worlders always seem to get in trouble for being late. You think they would catch on, but they never do.
- They mess up the most important projects. They leave things for the last minute. They just count on their being Real Worlders to get them through. It always shows that they don’t care & that they are interested in everything except actually working.
- Real Worlders yell at their boss. This is always a bad idea. I don’t care if you are on a TV show that thrives on drama, it’s still a bad idea.
- Real Worlders date their coworkers & then ditch them a few weeks after they’ve gotten the person to quit their job in order to stand up for true love.
So basically if you do the exact opposite of this, you & your job will be fine.
